Double Exposures

Accidental Acceptance – Hold on tightly, let go lightly.
Somewhere on the endless spectrum of subjective art, you’ll find accidental double exposures. As you collect each photo, you find yourself holding on tightly to a piece of art that only exists in negative format in your manual camera. As the development returns, you’re forced to let go lightly and appreciate what you’re presented with. Now, I find myself accepting what I had not previously planned to be presented with, accidental acceptance. Unbeknownst to me, a series of photos being created between country NSW and the first 7 weeks of my Tasmanian journey.

Exposures proving to gain much more than acceptance, are those of Cascade Brewery. This accidental happening of exposure provides a new perspective on a history-rich building. The prominent exposure sitting with me in the Tasmanian Winter of 23’, the shadowing exposure honouring its past, guarding over the dwelling as it is now less used and further appreciated.
