Creative Process - Aysha Swanson

Aysha's artistic journey unfolds in rhythmic waves, each pulse capturing a distinct phase in her creative process. This evolution is encapsulated in four poignant pieces: "The Fool," "The Hermit," "The Magician," and "The World." Each artwork serves as a testament to Aysha's unique method of translating emotion into tangible forms—be it a song, poem, or visual masterpiece. In her artistic alchemy, Aysha deliberately abstains from excessive editing, preserving the raw authenticity of the initial emotional impetus. These pieces stand as enduring monuments to the ebb and flow of her creative spirit, each stroke a reflection of a moment's unfiltered essence.

The Fool

“Represents how I take in various things from my everyday life, words, sentences people say, poetry, movies/TV shows other songs, not blocking anything out - eyes closed, soaking it all in.”

The Hermit

“The influences forming into poetry/lyrics in my mind - noted down, red eyes - I try to word it in the best way, hard work, third eye is forming but closed so not fully formed.”

The Magician

“Words turn into music - way I feel to represent that is in art/swirls I guess, third eye is opening, hair is becoming distorted - more of a feeling seperate to my physical self”

The World

“Third eye open, hair most different, listening to demo I created, quote - don’t remember where I heard it, sums up my feelings.”
